Terms of Use

These terms govern access to Cumberland County Court Docket. By browsing or using a feature, you agree to these conditions. If you do not accept them, discontinue use of the website.

NO FCRA USE. This private website is not connected with any court or government body. Neither it nor its advertising partners provides a service for credit decisions, employment screening, insurance eligibility, tenant screening, or another use regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We are not a private investigator or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

Cumberland County Court Docket is a private reference resource. It identifies public sources including the Cumberland County Circuit Court Clerk, Circuit Court and Criminal Court, General Sessions, Clerk & Master, municipal courts, and Tennessee portals. It may connect visitors with outside search tools but does not operate a court system.

2. Informational Use Only

All content is general information. It is not an official docket, court order, clerk certification, or substitute for legal advice. Confirm important facts with the Circuit Court Clerk or the court holding the case.

3. Rules for Using This Site

You agree not to:

  • Use the website unlawfully
  • Damage, probe, bypass, or disrupt its systems
  • Collect content through automation without permission
  • Impersonate someone or misstate your authority
  • Use information for an FCRA-regulated purpose
  • Violate another person's privacy or rights

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We do not create consumer reports and are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. Information must not be used to determine credit, employment, housing or tenancy, insurance eligibility, or another covered decision. A lawful consumer report must come from a compliant provider for an authorized purpose.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing here is legal advice. General Tennessee and Cumberland County information cannot determine how a deadline, filing, charge, judgment, or order applies to you. Consult a licensed Tennessee attorney.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

We do not promise complete, current, error-free, or uninterrupted content. Court staff, fees, procedures, hours, and addresses may change. Dockets change as filings arrive, hearings move, and matters are amended, sealed, or resolved. Search tools may return wrong or incomplete matches. Verify important information with the originating clerk. Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 governs access to court records subject to exceptions, while the Tennessee Public Records Act governs qualifying government records; neither makes this private summary official.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to courts, clerks, public agencies, legal-aid resources, advertisers, or search providers. We do not control their data practices, content, fees, availability, or results. Their terms apply after you leave this website.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Cumberland County Court Docket or its partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or build on that content without written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses caused by using, being unable to use, or relying on this website or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, demands, liabilities, proceedings, and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the website or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Tennessee law governs these terms. A dispute related to website use must be brought in a Tennessee court with proper jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms. An updated version takes effect when posted here.
